Pascal Beckert-McGirr
Pascal Beckert-McGirr (he/him) is a clinical research assistant at PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and within the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at CHOP. He works with Dr. Alix C. Timko in the Eating Disorder Assessment and Treatment Program on several studies, including the Shifting Perspectives 2.0 Clinical Trial and a study examining social processing in eating disorders.
Pascal graduated from Harvard University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in government and psychology. He has previously worked as a research assistant in a lab studying social isolation and loneliness and in various government and political roles. Pascal plans to pursue a PhD in Sociology and is especially interested in inequality and social determinants of health.
