"Entrepreneurial Science Scholars" Turn Ideas into Medical Innovation
One of the key ways that medical innovation and advancement happens is if those embedded in the medical field apply an entrepreneurial framework to their work and research. PolicyLab researcher Dr. Brian Jenssen is part of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Entrepreneurial Science Scholars Program, and was featured in a Cornerstone blog post on the program. Dr. Jenssen developed a clinical decision support tool embedded into the electronic health record that prompts physicians to ask parents about smoking habits and secondhand smoke exposure.
